"There I will give her her vineyards and make the
Valley of Achor [troubling] to be for her a door of hope and expectation.
And she shall sing there and respond as in the days of her youth and as at the time when she came up out of the land of Egypt."
Hosea 2:15
Dear Friends, I greet you in the wonderful Name of Jesus!
In April we experienced how God positioned and aligned us with His truth, His heart and His ways. I was confronted with desires and mindsets that totally pulled me out of sync with God! Most of these things were rooted in desires set in my own comfort and not in God's heart and His ways!
I was challenged in my calling and the perseverance to continue no matter what happens around me. I was challenged by my own culture!
And every time, I had to decide whether I will choose God's way or my own way of self-protection and self-preservation. Every time I chose God's way I felt more strongly positioned in Christ and more strongly prepared for the next step.
Before we can enter into the fulness of what the Lord has for us, we need to stand on the Truth, Jesus: the door and the way to our inheritance, life in abundance!
The word God gave us for the month of May:
God showed me a door with 8 progressive steps on the other side of the door. I knew the 8 progressive step represented the remaining 8 months of 2013.
After being positioned physically(some of us), emotionally and spiritually, we are now standing in the door that the Lord is opening before us.
The Scripture the Lord gave me for this month was Hosea 2:15(above). We went through many troubles in our last season. The Lord is now turning your valley of trouble into a door of hope and expectation.
Allow the hope and expectation to stir a response of joy and singing in your innermost being! Do not allow skepticism or unbelief to stop you from entering through that door! When you see the hope and expectation, sing it out into the earthly realm and as you sing it, you will sing it into being, co-creating with the Creator!

THE word for this month has a SAFFRON fragrance and flavor. Being the 4th plant mentioned in the Bridal garden and linked with the 4th letter of the Hebrew alphabet namely DALET which means DOOR, I believe it is totally appropriate as it combines with the word given to Global Prayer Centre. God showed Carol and Teresa the vision of a door leading on to 8 progressive steps.
Jesus IS the Door. Looking closely to Phil 2, we find a description of Jesus, becoming a door between heaven and earth. Something represented by the SAFFRON flower!.
Php 2:6 Who, although being essentially one with God and in the form of God [possessing the fullness of the attributes which make God God], did not think this equality with God was a thing to be eagerly grasped or retained,
SAFFRON flowers are amazingly beautiful! Reminding me of “… in the form of God” as :6 explains.
Php 2:7 But stripped Himself [of all privileges and rightful dignity], so as to assume the guise of a servant (slave), …
SAFFRON is currently the most expensive herb on earth! BUT in order to harvest the 3 stigma (read pollen threads) from the core of the flower, the flower needs to be stripped.
Jesus’ beauty was stripped from Him according to the will of His Father, in order to lay hold of the priceless value of His BLOOD!
If Jesus’ Father (our heavenly Father) saw it fit to deal with Jesus this way, I can rest in His dealings with me right now! If stripping needs to happen in my life, I know He is harvesting the value hidden deep within me. A priceless value I cannot lay hold of myself! His dealings may at times feel as if He is destroying that which is deemed beautiful (flowers), in order to take hold of that which is priceless (stigmas). But He is full of compassion and merciful in His dealings with us!
What makes this herb so expensive is the fact that it takes 75,000 saffron blossoms to produce a single pound of saffron spice. Saffron is largely cultivated and harvested by hand. Due to the amount of labor involved in harvesting, saffron is considered one of the world's most expensive spices. Weight - for – weight it is more expensive than gold.
Saffron reminds us of the delicate and intricate dealings of God in our lives. They are very individual, specific and tedious. Those ‘customized’ dealings of God, release our unique ‘color’, ‘fragrance’ and ‘flavor’ for His glory and pleasure!”

John 10:7-9
"So Jesus said again, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that I Myself am the Door for the sheep. All others who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the [true] sheep did not listen to and obey them. I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved. He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture.
Revelation 4:1-2
"After this I looked and behold, a door stand open in heaven! And the first voice which I had heard addressing me like [the calling] of a war trumpet said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future."
